I am now on Substack, and no longer posting here regularly.
In April of this year I started writing a regular column, Shiawassee Nature Notes, in my local newspaper. I enjoy the exercise of writing about the place I love and conservation success stories. I hope to build a wider readership and encourage more appreciation of nature. And I want to support local journalism. Read my first column to know more about my motivations.
